Does it see like Syracuse and Northwestern could be having a lot more recruiting battles?

After looking a bunch of the players we are recruiting it seems that two sides will become bigger recruiting rivals.

I don't mind that one bit. Two private schools with good academics and good history. Just an observation I made. Again is not any criticism at all. Northwestern is a perfect model we can point too.

I just keep seeing them in these battles which is positive to me as Fitzgerald is a good coach.

No it just looks like this staff is doing exactly what Shafers' did his first two years recruit the Midwest... a territory all they familiar with. Plus all these 2017s are probably kids they have been aware of.
