have designed pass plays that go 10-15 yards? It seemed everything this season was under 7 yds or a deep shot

There were plenty of pass plays called in that range. Also, just because Nassib threw to the underneath route, doesn't mean that there weren't WRs in the 10-15 yard range. Lemon made a living in that area. We chewed WVU up in that range.

it just seems we never really attacked that range ... is it receivers not getting open? lack of protection?

He missed Provo wide open in the middle around 10-15 yds at least 3 times.
