Since capacity is being reduced, the Clemson game is the last chance to set the record. Is it even possible? Or has capacity been reduced to a point where it is over Johnny? I know that official capacity is 49,057 but the Notre Dame game last year had 49,861. The 2019 Clemson game had 50,249. So if we start 3-0 (and maybe even have Gameday) would it even be possible to get another 316 people for Clemson 2023 into the Dome and set the record? Or will the 1st game forever be #1?

Since 1980 they've removed seats to add handicapped viewing areas.
