agree completely. I'm curious to see how he does there or anywhere else with better coaching. He's a great kid -- I can't root for him at UConn but I will be curious.

It would actually be super intriguing to watch. I have a lot of respect for Dan Hurley and UConn, despite being happy when they lose lol. If he could unlock Donnie to his potential and get him to buy in to that play style, get him in the HOF asap, don't even wait another 5 to 10 years.

That's why the interest from them is shocking, though I would still be stunned if they actually went through and went into an all in bidding war with Bama and Kentucky for him. I would love to see our local media crying Syracuse being poor and the Donnie being somewhat overrated narrative be put to bed because UConn systems and culture actually is the major competitive advantage into why there program is where they are at and where Syracuse was during Autry especially after the NIL issues were taking care of going into last season.

Yeah, I mean we don't play them anymore and we are in way different states currently, but if we ever met them again, the arena would be buzzing and the media would be buzzing about the history of the rivalry our programs have together. Gen Z and Millenials see UConn as a bigger rival than Georgetown growing up.

Agreed -- would make perfect sense. And probably the move that gives the greatest likelihood that he'll actualize his potential [nothing is guaranteed, but that system would push him to play hard].

He played well for awhile after he returned from injury, then regressed quite dramatically as the season went on. I don't know if he was fully healthy down the stretch, but he seemed to make consistently bad decisions when games were on the line, and it wasn't fun to watch. He'll get paid, but I'm okay with another program writing the check.

He was exposed at BC. Quick doubles made him a turnover mChine..He cleans that up and watch ot.
