Lost amid the NY Post brilliant front page and Lenn Robbins' Boeheim profile today is another sidebar. Guess who showed up at our DC practice with the nerve to say he has a lot of affection for us? JT the elder:
“It bothered me more when Syracuse left than the rest of the schools leaving the Big East,’’ Thompson told The Post. “Because with a lot of the animosity and the competitiveness that you share, you also share a lot of affection..."
Don't believe it. He's just trying to soften us up and dull the competitive edge.
Bottom line: his miserable former team can watch us on TV tonight. And you want an expression of affection? How about this: FACIAL!
