Other options behind him and Custis are very skinny and are also inexperienced. Good post that is exactly why he will continue to play. Just need him to catch more balls.

Yss, we do. I just hope that FSU doesnt expose our LB and WR instability. This is a weird game. I have a feeling we win a shootout or get ripped by 3-4 tds. I like our trend into this game, but as much taggert might be over his head, his coaches and talent might find it this week.

Any production we’ll take. FWIW, Butler was never a guy who popped/flashed much on the screen for me despite the many proclaimed accolades of speed and athleticism.

Custis is a clunky, straight-line guy with really good hands this year. Good speed but a little robotic. I don’t think he has much wiggle and/or YAC ability. Gotta get the young cats in there. When Taj hit the slant for the TD that was some juice there!

I don't think anyone really wants to give up on Butler. But his performance has not lived up to his 1st team status enough to keep the young kids from getting PT. We need to see if Harris and/or N Johnson are special. I don't want to discredit Custis or Butler but they are playing in large because they have the most experience in the program. Custis is translating that this year (and I'll say it...FINALLY!) But to make it to the next level we need to be able to play our most talented players. I don't believe that is happening in all cases.
