DG was fair in his analysis of us but to put OSU and UNC ahead of us is a joke. The only team I think is better than us right now is UK, but given our unique defense and ahtleticism to match up with them I like our chances.

Btw, I have to get this off my chest. Everyone is gushing over UK and how they destroyed Florida. Guess what, Florida is good but they live and die by the three and if theyre not hitting them...they suck.

Agree. Fab played like one of the best centers in the country last night...which guess what, HE IS. (Shhhh people here are afraid to admit that). UNC has Barnes/Zeller/Henson/Marshall. OSU has Sullinger/Thomas/Craft/Buford. SYR has Melo/Joseph/Waiters/Scoop and were deeper than both those teams.

Like Duke we have opportunities to prove we are that good (this week). I'm going by my eye test, so its just my opinion.

However CBB is just not like what it once was so we all have to adjust our eyes to the landscape of CBB. I guess we have to be top 5, looking at other teams. We haven't played more than one or two complete games this year, that is not a good sign in February.

How many complete games have UNC and OSU played. OSU was equally unimpressive against Purdue who is way less talented than GTown. So comparing us to top 5, I still feel pretty good. UK is who we can compare ourselves too but they also have the benefit of playing in the watered down SEC. OMGGGGG theyre playing Vandy this weekend GASPPP...uhhhh ok Vandy isnt that good, but thats the best the SEC has to offer apparantly.

Robinson is GREAT (best player after Davis imo). But after that I am not sold on Kansas. Not sold on any of the Big 12.

That's fine. At this moment, Kentucky clearly deserves to be thought of first, then there's 4-6 others you can mix and match for 2-7.

I don't care so much about that list, but UNC, IMO, has no chance to win the championship. They can't guard. They aren't very smart. They don't seem to be tough. And Roy Boy's teams aren't very good closers in general.

They are the "great" team I don't even give an ounce of tournament respect to this year.

I don't get the infatuation with UNC. Sure, they have 6 first round picks on their team. Will any of them besides Barnes be successful in the NBA? Zeller and Henson are way too weak and pick on blocking 6'8 centers. Marshall isn't quick enough to guard any NBA PG. Barnes will be a solid pro, IMO.

If anything last nights win to me was the most impressive win of the season and here is why...
it was one of the only times this team was tested in a do or die end of game situation like that (WVU), they pulled it our in regulation and had a chance to win, while I would have liked to see a move towards the basket they pulled both of those games out.

Now we know against top 15 talent we have what it takes to win, and come on if Clark doesn't hit two 28+ foot three pointers then we win the game easily.

Remember, there are about 12 stars in the NBA and then another 280 slots to fill... the league needs Hakim Warricks and Tony Allen's too. Zeller and Henson will both likely see a 2nd contract in the NBA due to their size. Remember that guy drafted before Carmelo Anthony by the Pistons? He's still playing...and rich.

Damn right. Does anyone want to know what Henry Sims did last night offensively? 1-12 from the floor for 6 points. I would pay good money to see Fab match up with Sully, Davis, Robinson, or Zeller.
