I'm rooting for Marorne to succeed because we need him to succeed and he's obviously improved the talent level of the program but we seem to make far more mistakes than the other team in so many games.

Chuck Priore brings in D1A transfers who have had "problems" at other schools and puts together a team that, whatever it's limitations, plays smarter, more cohesive football than our team which is mostly four year guys we got out of high school and are part of Doug's "leadership and life skills" program. Hey! We went to Fort Drum!

TGD would be silly not to offer him an extension, atleast another full recruiting cycle. We've finally got the offense everyone everyone wanted, putting up 500+ yards per game, the D has much better athletes, it's just the mental errors, which can and should be fixed, and though STs has stunk, there are playmakers out there. a million times better than Gerg. No appreciation of progress whatsoever it seems.

It's hilarious that when he was hired the general consensus seemed to be that he needed five years.
I just don't know how you can watch his teams and not see massive improvement. I also don't know how people aren't excited for the future with the young talent we have on the team and the fact that we might have a QB controversy because we have legitimate exciting options at QB.

I'm not getting excited over the QB potential yet. Been burned too many times when we thought we FINALLY had the depth and talent there. Those times would include times under P, Grob and Marrone.

Now that the losing streak is over the only thing in my mind is when we give him an extension. So long as it is sometime before the end of the season and it is for a couple of years I am for it.
