Dropped passes

Any HC watching what coach white has to work with would take him, 4 turnovers and his offense is terrible, taking the life out of the game, only 11 first downs, his defense is on the field 40 min of the game, get real
I’m willing to cut Coach White some slack because this was their only real stinker of a performance out of the first four games and there are injury issues. Having said that, the defensive performance was in no way on the offense today - and I acknowledge the offense was really bad. Duke scored a TD on the first possession of the game, before the offense even took the field. We could not stop their running game AT ALL. Without referring to the box score, I really don’t remember them punting. The defense couldn’t get off the field unless it was from a turnover. The only reason the score was close at halftime was Duke’s horrible decisions to throw the ball when they were averaging over 6 ypc running.

I said a few weeks ago Tommy is a good QB in the wrong system. If he was on a team where they called the play, and his job was to hand it off or drop back and hit the receiver, TD would be good. But the RPO where you read the defense and take what they give you isn't a good fit.

Absolutely agree on this. Totally true statement

When Jackson declared some people here thought he was crazy. I thought he was a pro because he did things his height and speed couldn't account for; tracking the ball, fighting for catches and just having good hands. I don't see a guy that would make a practice squad in the current group. Jackson is on the 53 man roster.

I watched a defense that was on the field for 40 minutes who's offense does nothing but put them in bad spots, they got 4 turnovers and scored points, the defense is not the problem and tony white will be saying see ya at seasons end, zac arnett must be thanking his lucky stars today that he went to MISS St with leach
They weren't good in the first quarter. This wasn't the usual game where the D got worn down before it started giving up ground. The D got pummeled from the first snap.

Just watched Josh Palmer adjust to a 50/50 ball for a Tennessee TD... Didn’t we recruit that guy?

For our guys, that’s a 1/99 ball.

Palmer was actually verballed to us and Tennessee flipped him.
