I really like Rich Rod's offense but he is still coaching same as he did at Michigan, it's just that his style is better suited for the Pac 12 as opposed to Big 10. Dantonio is perfect Big 10 guy. Rich Rod teams aren't know for much defense. Like I said, he's a very good coach and will win games for sure, seems much more likeable since being fired from Michigan as well, probably 10,000 times happier at Zona as well.

Michigan job is so tarnished these days. I think they are crazy with their list of people

I've always liked RR as a coach. He wasn't suited for Michigan and he plodding big 10. Guys offenses would've been great in the Dome and in the ACC. He'll be at Zona ten years now.

What's sad is his offenses WERE great in the Dome. I don't miss Pat White and Steve Slaton one bit.

Ariz should never have beaten Cal
Stand might lose to ND and have 2 losses
Oregon is lucky to not have lost to WSU and Ariz

they might have a 2-3 loss team with the Pac 10 and the same for the SEC and the Big 10. 1 loss teams might not make the Conf Final in all 3 conf.

The whole Final 4 is in danger 5 weeks into the season.. but it would likely have been just as screwed with a final 2.

what if Bay/OK play a great game and end up with a close loss does the Big-12 get 2 in..

what do they do if the Big boys end up with 3 loss teams winning the conf title and 1 loss teams dont get into the Conf title game..

Syracuse and Michigan kind of deserved everything that's happened to them after that abomination in the dome in 1999.

michigan was too stupid to realize they had one of the 10 best QBs ever and we had to rotate QBs just to keep it fair

I still have nightmares about Madei Williams trying to throw that telegraphed TE throwback play, that everybody in the building knew was coming...

Rich-Rod has always had good offenses. The biggest mistake Rich-Rod made was hiring GRob to be his D coordinator at Michigan. Another problem RichRod has done in the past is that he has recruited all of his skill on offense but not much on defense but this Arizona team looks like a complete team. I wouldn't say they are top 10 but they look like a solid 9-3 team.

Yeah, I don't know why he was so tied to his 3-3-5 defense with Shafer. If you trust your DC, and I hope you would since you hired him, let him run the defense he wants.
