Duke attendance thread

Seems like there is some buzz around the team. Saturday's win should spur on the parents to actually go to the game instead of grabbing lunch with their kids. I bet it will be close to full. $99 is the lowest I see on StubHub.

Yeah I think it will be game in the afternoon and go grab dinner with the parents later. Hope you all have reservations.

Rather than start a new thread, thought I'd just post it here.

Any of you TV time prognosticator's have an idea of Kickoff time for the Pitt game on Sat. 10/18?

I called Ticket Office and very nice agent said they literally have no tickets to sell and go to ticketmaster for resale market only...spent alot of money for tickets and parking. Should I be worried not real tickets?

I highly doubt there would be any counterfeit tickets for a Syracuse home game, especially since almost all the tickets are digital.

Big East Tournament 20 years ago... was obviously another story.

Probably right about a Syracuse game, but MLB has been having some issues apparently

I'm pretty curious about that too as I'm planning to go to that game. Should be announced on Monday, Oct 6.

4 of the 8 games at ACC venues already have kickoff times. Two Friday night games (Louisville @ Miami, UNC @ Cal). Two Saturday games (Wazzou @ UVA at 6:30 pm on the CW, FSU @ Stanford at 10:30 pm on ESPN).

So that leaves our game, that's highly dependent on both SU and Pitt these next 2 weeks. Plus:

UConn @ BC - Which better have worst time slot possible written all over it.

SMU @ Clemson - Despite the disappointment on both sides, could still be enough of a TV draw for Noon ESPN2. Both have bye weeks. Then Clemson has a get right game against UNC. SMU has what I hope is not a get right game against us.

GT @ Duke - Don't know where to put that one. Duke is @ us and then @ Cal. GT is @ Wake and then bye, so barring a disaster, they'll still be ranked.

What can I make out of this (besides a hat or a brooch or a pterodactyl), I think we'd have a good shot of getting an afternoon or evening game on ACC Network.

Unfortunately I suspect it will be yet another Noon kick. I'd love to get a 3:30 or any time after Noon but I suspect our string of Sat home Nooners will continue unabated.

ACC TV slots can vary wildly from week to week so its hard to say what's left for that Sat. The good news is to Fri night games so the ACC may have only 1 or 2 Noon slots versus the 3 to 5 they usually have.

The bad news is that 6:30 slot is already gone, could have seen that being a good time for this game.

GT @ Duke feels like an ESPN network( 1 2 or whatever) at Noon or the ACC prime 7/8 slot.

I agree on Uconn and BC boy that screams Noon if any game could. BC plays PItt on Sat the 4th, interesting game on a number levels including our potential TV slot. BC then plays Clemson on the 11th.

Id still have to figure our best bet is likely another Noon game which sucks but feel inevitable unless the ACC only has one Noon slot that week which seems unlikely.
