What game you watching INT was early
Yes, he under threw that pass badly. He also led us down the field the first couple times we had the ball. The offense looked decent and functional, compared to what came later.
He hit Cook for 33 yards on his first pass while getting hit in the face. He also hit a 16 yard pass, and Nixon had a 6 yard run before the interception. It was very promising. It looked like our offense could move the ball.
Next drive he completed 4 passes, we had the ball for 11 plays, and settled for the FG. His worst play on that drive, IMO, was taking the 7 yard sack after twice getting away from the rush. There was no play to be made. He should have chucked it out of bounds.
The defenses traded stops, and then the terrible call on Cook that threw the momentum of the game,
When they go back and look at film, when you lose this badly, you have to look for the individual plays you won, and build from there.
