I’m not saying the play calling has been good but Collins looks rattled. We could do more to help him, like run the ball more (which I’ve been yelling for all game), but he’s also put his receivers in bad spots. Even the passes he has completed have often been with the ball not where it should be, and has caused the receivers to get crushed. All around needs to be better but Collins has not been good. His footwork is really, really bad.

Well if we didn’t call a pass Collins wouldn’t screw up

I'll bet that Collins is pretty good in practice. He's athletic, he led the team for the whole spring. It's just different when the lights are on, the audience is there, and the other guys are actually trying to hurt you.

Surprised they are not getting Collins outside the pocket more. He is clearly uncomfortable In the pocket (see back foot throws). Get him out of the pocket. But the D cannot stop anything

That changed the whole projection of the game. Instead of having it on the 18 - 22 yard line, it's overturned to a fumble and Duke scores just after.

Cant believe i am about to say this... I think we need to mix in some Zone D about once every 4 plays to try and give them some different looks. Turnovers definitely hurt us but we are clearly losing. Collins got his arm slightly hit on the first INT..and the Cook fumble was a blown call by the Refs.. I would give Collins a C with this being his first start... We are going to have to play a really solid game in the 2nd half to have a chance
