Duke opens as a ten point favorite

Think you'd need a lot of balls to bet Syracuse on the money line. Unless there is some sort of inside information that people don't know about you'd have to be insane to take Syracuse straight up in this game, unfortunately.
I won $500 tonight. Sometimes it pays to be optimistic.

Yes, it seems some are forgetting that the zone falls into the Dukies' strength -- jump shooting without duress. Greyson and co. will catch, square and shoot all night. They won't need interior play because they won't be missing from deep like Wake and BC did. Did we all forget that our zone sucked against them even when we were 25-0? Wish I could be more optimistic but maybe I'm overselling Duke from past experience. Vegas would seem to agree with my line of thinking.

Great call.

Next.

Well this is clearly one of dukes down years. They will be out of the top 25 next week.

I am as thrilled as anyone that we finally shut those fans up, but if you watched the game with an objective eye duke had a TON of open looks on the perimeter of the catch-and-shoot variety. I've never seen a duke team miss so many of those. Just not a fan of hoping the other team misses... no reason to take that as a personal affront but that's how I feel about how we play defense. At least Roberson was an animal tonight and limited them on second chances.

Great win - when you're this far in the hole you just get the win and move on.

In other betting news, Rutgers was a 20 point dog AT HOME, and still could not come close to a cover. Lost by 50 to Purdue at home.

They have lost last 4 games by an average of 34 points.

Yeah I wonder if they will make the tourney...

Duke is sooooo limited on offense they were only averaging 87 coming into tonight. Please.

What is their offensive efficiency before/after Jefferson went out? Ppg does not account for tempo.

97% of the action is on duke straight up to win.

A fool and their money are soon parted. I guess the books won some cash last night.

If you consider an open look having a 6'5" guy bearing down on you with his hands up high. I thought our perimeter guys did a great job getting out to the shooters and even though Duke is a pretty good passing team, our guys were never caught sleeping. Our zone was extremely active last night.

Few times I have ever felt as confident going into a road game in a tough environment as last night. Every sign I could think of was pointing to us having a great shot at the upset.

Jimmy 's gotta have a bucket list, and "winning at Cameron" most definitely was on there.

I'm sure JAB partied like it was 2003 after the game.

's analysis was all on SU yesterday before the game. If you listened to them, you made money.
