What are they going to sue Phillips for? He didn’t write the contract. as for the SEC, they wouldn’t be able to do anything either. This is the bed they made and they will need to sleep in it.Would doing it this late in the portal period with the player under contract be tolerated in the SEC? Or is this what will push them to play conference games only as they've suggested and police tampering? I think it's been suggested earlier in this thread that Jim Phillips, the ACC Commissioner, is hiding under his bed. Would Duke sue him also for inaction?
I’ll bet the phones are ringing at Moore Van Allen as we speak…Duke has a lot of high powered lawyer alums at big law firms who no doubt will do this pro bono.
