Poor job at deflection. Schools are nonprofits. Football programs are not stand alone institutions, they are part of the athletic department.
You are incorrect, most schools do not make money on football. Most athletic departments don’t make money. Revenue is not the same as profit. Even if a program made money it wouldn’t be hard to shift costs and expenses to reduce the profit to zero. What would be taxed?
