Yep. Also there wasn’t a lot of heartburn with that thought either. The optics after Gerry said there is talent here might bother but that was way before he got to sit down and hash everything out. Also this has been the norm with coaching changes across the country. Very few kids stay in the portal era when a coach is fired.

In the portal you can buy proven no reason to risk your season on something that may or may not happen like a development of a young player

I give up getting excited about anything over the long term. This environment we’re currently in sucks for getting excited about the future. I’m 100% in the moment and don’t even think about player development.

At this point, whatever, I’ll check out a few games due to the GMac buzz but I’m nowhere near emotionally invested I once was.

I haven’t clicked the Recruiting forum here in a long time. If some good players come here, great. Can’t get too invested in them, though.
