I stumbled into an internet argument with some really angry people or bots about who is better, Freeney or Peppers.

I doom scrolled to a post about Peppers. It piqued my interest bc his career mirrored Freeneys. I made a comment about it and a couple people jumped down my throat.

It seems Peppers always got more accolades. But, Freeney got a super bowl.

I forgot his name, but I remember the announcers making a big deal about it because this guy was just crushing two pass rushers at a time during that season like he was playing Pop Warner teams. Freeney was giving him all he could handle and frustrating the crap out of him.

I got to spend a couple hours with Dwight down in Miami. What an awesome human being. We’re very lucky he’s involved as heavily as he is. Phenomenal ambassador.

hey no sour grapes here . let's give some credit where it's due. as great as dwight freeney was , mount McKinnie did shut him down that afternoon. McKinnie would go on to be selected #7 in the 2002 NFL draft . dwight freeney went #11. it was a classic matchup. sadly McKinnie won that day . both are in the college football hall of fame.
(that said i dohave a freeney jersey in my collection, others being harrison and mcnabb. )
