Class of 2016 Dyaire Holt PG, Troy HS, NY

First mentioned by sutomcat in the "Zach Radz" thread, I figured Holt was worthy of his own. 6ft 175lb played varsity as an 8th grader & now starts at PG & averages 12.9 ppg as a frosh.

Troy vs. Henninger in Class AA regional today, Saturday 3/9 @ 2:45p on TWCS

Strengths:
Dyaire is a score first point guard that has a college built frame already. He uses an array of crossovers and hesitation dribbles to breakdown the defense and finish in the lane. He has very long arms and quick lateralmovement that allows him to be a lock down defender as well.

Weaknesses:
Needs to work on his mid-range game extended to the three point line. He also tends to over dribble at times

Troy defeated Henninger to advance in the state semi's to meet BK. Holt scored 15pts and Radz was taken to the hospital after getting undercut and having to get stitches in his head.

The Troy/BK matchup (assuming that BK beat Jamestown)should be a good one as Troy has some decent size inside to test Kearneys bigs and some good gaurd play as well. Hope Radz is ok and can play next weekend.
