Aces replacing Fairs vacated spot with retired vet Tiffany Hayes. Hayes is an 11 year vet who averaged 12 points per game in 2023.All about the "D"...we played zone a lot so think that hurt her.
The Fever are not a strong team, but this would be one of the last teams I could see Fair playing for. They already have 3-4 players that can play the lead guard, including one player that barely comes off the court. Their major area of weakness (or lack of depth) is at the wing/sf position. No way Fair couldn't play for the Fever
She could play for a few teams. Doesn't seem like she's going to get a chance. No way Fair couldn't play for the Fever
Europe the next spot? She could play for a few teams. Doesn't seem like she's going to get a chance.
Obviously those players at lead guard are not workingThe Fever are not a strong team, but this would be one of the last teams I could see Fair playing for. I wish I knew what her options are. Currently. Seems like she's playing adult rec ball in Rochester.Europe the next spot?
I can't imagine the emotions she has to be going through.I wish I knew what her options are. Currently. Seems like she's playing adult rec ball in Rochester.
Would be good to see her working with a trainer on her defense & prepping for the next opportunity.
An adopted member of the tribe. Best of luck and stay safe.
Unless there is expansion I don't see how. Not saying its right but being realistic.Hoping that a season of extra experience will give her another shot at the WNBA.
There are going to be 2 more teams - Golden State in 2025 and Toronto in 2026. Don’t know if they are planning more expansion after those 2 additions.Unless there is expansion I don't see how. Not saying its right but being realistic.
Love the positive self talk.
