I didn't read the article, but I would figure this severely limits their ability to swoop in on recruits at the last minute and grab them from schools that have put in the long hours to get a commitment.

It also forces them to $#!& or get off the pot with their "back up plans" who don't happen to know they are "back up plans" until the papers don't arrive.

LOL, or pulling a Saban as they call it ... sorry Nicky, you'll have to have that "gray shirt" talk to recruits in December instead of at the 11th hour.

Also, the video has some brief SU footage and says we'll benefit from the early OV time period, as well.
