I think that we, and other schools in similar positions, could take advantage of having an early signing period. One example could be Josh Palmer from this most recent class. He committed to Cuse over the summer and would have been able to sign in December. Instead without the early signing period he decommitted in January and then committed to Tennessee less than two weeks later.Who would an earlier signing period advantage? Since this is the NCAA I assume the advantage goes to the existing hierarchy of top football schools but don't have any reasoning to back that up.
Not sure why we and Nebraska were singled out as being happy about early visits. I can only guess it's a reference to weather.Syracuse is in the video.
