Eastern Football Ailing

This was a bad weekend for football schools in the East.

Syracuse lost badly to Duke.
Penn State lost in their first game against a real football team (Oregon).
Pitt lost to UL.
WVU got killed by Utah.
BC lost to Cal.
Rutgers lost to a bad Minnesota team that already lost to Cal.

The biggest win of the weekend was probably UConn upsetting UB. But someone had to win in that pillow fight.

Yeah, I almost wanted to root for Penn St., not because I want anything good for them, but because the reputation for eastern football is terrible and they currently carry the torch.

Oregon played the sweep to Pena so well they had an extra guy in the backfield who was in the throwing lane.

To be fair, I'd say that Big Game James lost it and still they went to 2OT. Lots of baffling decisions.
