are freely abusing any argument that Ed O'Bannon and others who sued the NCAA over using their names,images and whatevers by claiming all those thousands upon thousands and the values that must exceed millions over free signatures.
You have to be totally nuts to think otherwise they are doing it for free. Where is the value in the lawsuits now when you have a very major sports group selling all this merchandise and the players are saying they did it for free.
Then by suing the NCAA was wrong and maybe they should sue the for profit companies then...won't happen though as these retailers need some kind of proof (video's) to verify the authenticity of the Sigs.
I can see the IRS getting involved at some point as I guess somewhere in this chain someone is not paying the correct taxes on their income and someone is writing off expenses.
