Moore has some good offensive games early in the year when he got big minutes. And then he was pretty bad for a stretch when he was made a starter.

Might have been the usual inconsistency of a frosh. Although his D was consistently terrible.

I suspect we’ll hear from him in a couple years when he’s on his 3rd team.

Offensive promise, every team needs a gunner I suppose. Defensively it looked like he had never had to make a switch in his life yet. Constantly lost his man or would just drift and guard no one.

New system, coaching and teammates should be good for him.

First off, counting on a freshman to be good from three is always a bad idea. Odds are just not in favor there. They're going to be inconsistent, trending to lower percentages.

But the thing that really bothers me about Choppa leaving is that this was a dude that really wanted to be at Syracuse. He was an early commit, I think even while Boeheim was still coach. Maybe he had unrealistic expectations, but whatever they were, this was a guy that came into the program with all the belief in the world in what Syracuse was about, and in less than two semesters that died.

I think that's really bad. Now maybe in the NIL era coming through for guys you bring in will be a lot harder. But I think we messed this up.

When recruiting HS, they don’t necessarily need to be starter level first year, but if you dont anticipate they’ll start by sophomore year there’s little reason to waste your time.
