wasn't that a Thamel tweet?According to previous posts here the BOT did not know about the 2005 investigation.
I could have misunderstood originally though
I don't agree.not sure 99% of the world really cares.. far less than care about what happened at PSU. other than die hards types who frequent boards like this most people have no details and many dont even know the story exist outside of Syracuse.. ESPN is not the most watched channel on TV.
this board knew about the tape-- school should have been prepared for this day---- they had a week-- how could i possibly know of rumors of a tape and school not??
What -- we should have had a response -- 8 hrs ago
...did Syracuse administration and JB know or not know about the tape...if they knew and took no action...then damn, they all are hanging on by a very small life jacket
this hasn't been a long time. It is to us because we are hanging on every word. But the rest of the world is going on with their Sunday.
unfortunately the percentage of people who are sports fans is quite largehow many people even watch the news these days? less than 10%. how many watch the evening news? again its like 10%.. probably many of the same people. if you are not a sports fan or a local person this story is missed by the large masses.
not really compared to the society as a whole. even the super bowl only gets 30% watching these days.
i know where i work there are a handful of PRo Fball fans and a few college sport fans, but by far most dont follow sports at all outside maybe the local HS..
if a story of note comes out mos dont know anything and the few who care will come ask me for real details.
