I'm still holding out hope that the feeding frenzy is premature or even misguided. Color me Orange, and I'm certainly not a lawyer, but I am not convinced beyond a shadow of doubt that the evidence I've read and seen rises to the level of certainty.

I've been out the past few hours but was thinking about that. SPD and the DA had the tape, so I am sure because of the relationship between SU and people in those organizations, SU knew there was a tape and may very well have known of some of its contents. They without a doubt should have been prepared for this possibility and had a statement waiting even if it did need some tweaking. My concern now is that it is taking so long maybe some serious discussions/negotiations are taking place.

We probably won't know for 3-4 days when ESPN decides to "refresh" the story.

how many people even watch the news these days? less than 10%. how many watch the evening news? again its like 10%.. probably many of the same people. if you are not a sports fan or a local person this story is missed by the large masses.

unfortunately the percentage of people who are sports fans is quite large

i know where i work there are a handful of PRo Fball fans and a few college sport fans, but by far most dont follow sports at all outside maybe the local HS..

if a story of note comes out mos dont know anything and the few who care will come ask me for real details.
