Last night’s game was the first across the board embarrassment in preparation, decision making and execution I remember from an SU football team since the 2013 Shafer 56-0 loss to GT (on the road). It was very reminiscent of the GERG era football where we looked physically and schematically outmatched. I’m not saying UNC was good- we were just that bad.

Congratulations to coaches AND players on checking all the boxes, bravo. Special kudos to doing at home during a prime time slot on ESPN.

We checked all the embarrassing boxes last night except for the scoop and score...

I'll stand by my comments I made to friends though from my couch last night. We had a block of season tickets through the GERG and Shafer era. After those years the season tickets were stopped. We usually made it in from the tailgate mid way through the 1st quarter and were out the door back to the tailgate or on to our next spot at half time. That wasn't just a 1 time deal that was basically the entirety of whole seasons WITH the starting QB and rest of the team intact.

I'm highly annoyed right now but not going to lose my mind. He's got the offseason and he's going to have to clean house and make some big moves. If he just runs it back for 3 with his same guys and with this same youth movement type deal then we got problems.

Reminds me of Shafer's final game. BC in the Dome at noon when we were 3-8.

My family flew back to DC. I drove because I was going to go to the game. Go to the Adams St exit on 81 and said screw it, I'm just driving home. Was so glad I did.

This year I promised my son I would take him to the game. I may promise him a new hockey stick if he lets me keep driving.
