Was at the game. Afterwards , Empire State building lit up, orange on top or red . Looked good

One thing highly noticeable at the game. Standford had forwards cutting through the paint continuously. We never did .
Stanford consistently made passes into the low post and if nothing was there , the pass went back out or to the second cutter through the middle.

We only pass into the center after a drive in and then a drop off. We have tall guards. Pass the ball in , Hit the big men. Melo has his man sealed on his hip. He doesn't get the ball.

CJ Fair moves along top of the key. he never gets the ball up top. Perfect player to get receve the ball there.

We are too much dribble drive and the three point shot. What about some quick passing in and out.

...no half court sets at all especially with Scoop in there who dribbles far too much. the best tandem is Waiters, Triche along with KJ, CJ and Melo. I am sure JB did not expect to have to play his 5-7 for most of the time...but he did. We need to practice getting the ball in to the paint and then a shot or pass back out. We do not do this well.
It was surprising that with 20 turnovers, losing on the boards we still managed to win with a gritty defense and gutsy call by JB to play the last 6 minutes with Scoop once again on the bench...but the team came back and showed a competitive mindset.
What I do not understand is our continuing lack of scoring in the first part of the first half. I can only point to who is and who is not on the floor. I feel team flow is best without Scoop...but that is for the coach to decide. If we continue to fall behind early, we are going to lose games...not necessarily a big thing this time of year but it tends to carry over into BE conference and NCAA play
