Enrique Cruz invited to NFL combine

I’m hearing Enrique Cruz has been invited to participate in the NFL Combine.

Unfortunately this young man couldn’t find playing time so he transferred to Kansas where he has a decent 2025.

Now after playing in the American Bowl (all-star game) this week he appears to have been invited to participate in the NFL combine.

Can anyone confirm the invite?

From Enrique: He made the all Big 12 team and at one point was the top ranked offensive tackle in the conference by PFF. He talked with multiple teams at the all star game and is projected to be a Day 3 pick.

correct. The reality is we went too cheap at OL with the first set of hires. We rectified that problem.

I'm not sure I ever voiced this on the board, but I really felt you were letting your relationship with Enrique influence your opinion of his play when he was at SU. I didn't think he was as good as you felt he was. I fully admit I was wrong.

He’ll finish workout tomorrow with some additional drills and bench press, but looking like a pretty solid Day 3 pick at this point. Too bad he couldn’t crack the rotation here last year…..
