Epic Fail for the ACC today...

Watching the ACC tournament, there was one game of high level play, where both teams looked like they could do damage in the NCAA tournament. It should have been the championship game.

It was Virginia vs Syracuse. Maybe Florida State can overcome the coaching problems, get some good matchups and leverage the great talent they have to get a couple of wins. It is a shame GT lost their star to COVID, With him playing, I think they could have gone on a nice run in the tourney.

Huff played 36 minutes and ended up with 3 fouls while constantly playing physical all game. In the tourney, he is going to get called for over the back and bodying shooters.

That may have been the easiest 8-9 game to pick, in history.

I got it wrong; never saw Wisconsin this year and made some bad assumptions.

I saw enough UNC to be thoroughly unimpressed with them.

We should’ve been 3rd in the league this year if there were no disruptions and we had the 8 we’ve got now, playing well early on.

Well, the top 2 teams don't play until Sat., so there's a chance for a bit of a bounceback.

But, yeah, UNC and Clemson were not good, VTech was a bit unlucky. And GTech was really unlucky, having to play without the league MVP.

The proof in the pudding is the seed lines the ACC received--nothing better than 4.

Of course, it looks like one ACC double-digit seed was underrated.

I'll be surprised if either one of those top two advance to the Sweet 16. I like SU's chances better than those two. Just a down year for the ACC. I may eat these words but I don't understand the national perception of FSU. They garner way more respect than they deserve imo.

Agreed but if noone is out as of right now they 'should' be able to play I'd think.

This thread is premature the 2 high seeds and 2 teams who had good regular seasons didn't play today. Everyone who played other than UNC was a dog and they weren't really favored. If FSU and UVA follow us into the round of 32 only 2 of the 3 need to win for the conference to have held serve. We didn't have any 1-2 seeds.

UVA will be fine 7 days stuck in a hotel isn't 70 or they are stuck on a plane for 70 hours before the game. Its not like they aren't allowed to shoot around for an hour tomorrow morning which is all they probably need. -7 vs Ohio sure looks weird though considering they won their last NCAAT game.

VATech went off as a one point favorite. Clemson was a slight dog. SU was the only ACC team to cover the spread. It was a bad day for the ACC, no way to sugarcoat it.

UVA looks like crap every game offensively except when they play us. Then they can't miss a shot. I know everyone will give them a pass for being in quarantine for a week and not able to practice but that was an embarrassing performance for an ACC regular season champ.
