The hurdle at UVA for the TD is the signature play of his career.

Was sitting down close to that action at UVa with my wife who usually doesn't appreciate football. We both were astounded at the play! ED took a dirty helmet 2 helmet hit from the UVa defender right after he high jumped the tackler and crossed the goal line.

The upset of Clemson last year. The almost 80-yard rushing TD when he was chugging down the sideline and the last guy got him. So close. Then the touchdown strike to Ish a couple plays later and then the scramble and lunge for the first down to seal it. 6:12-6:55 and 10:17 of this video:

I thought Eric was going to the endzone on that play - could not believe he was tackled.

The throw to Steve Ishmael down the sidelines for the TD was a great moment.

So many great moments for this wonderful competitor and SU Football Legend.

My favorite was this year against NC State.

Dungey kept it on a zone read and as he’s approaching the LOS, he flicks it down the near sideline to Taj for a long TD.

I remember thinking I’d just witnessed the equivalent of an alley oop on a football field.
