That promted this BR writer to ask why then is the Heisman Show in NY?

It also lists all of the former SU players who had votes and where they finished.

This guy left out Jim Brown who finished 5th despite his rush average of 6.2. He ran for 986 yards—third most in the country despite Syracuse playing only eight games.

There were several proud moments in last night's show as they mentioned Ernie and showed his statue from the quad. The show is being re-aired this morning on ESPNU in case you missed it.

Why is the Heisman presentation in NYC?

I'm disappointed in Ed Valentine. He writes for the Giants website Big Blue View, and he should know better.
 
I would guess he knows why it's in NYC, but was taking a shot at UConn/Rutgers/Syracuse.
