I'm recalling that Spruill missed the 1st half of last year's Pinstripe Bowl, and that Diabate and Lynch stepped up. This is Kelly's chance.

The beauty part is that they know this ahead of time and can prepare. Kelly will do a good job and while it's hard to replace a guy like Eck, who is extremely talented, Kelly gets a chance to show what he's got. One guy goes down and the next guy comes in...that's SU team football.

Kelly and Wilkes are great at run support. Wilkes scares me in coverage though, he is always out of position peering into the backfield for the run.

Think of this next year, Kelly and Eskridge at the safeties with Desir backing up both or in Okie. Williams and Nasean freshman coming in at safety. Reddish, Morgan, Whigham, Scissum, George with Hudson, Dawson incoming true freshman at the corners.

Pretty good defensive backfield although I think that we need 1-2 more guys for Depth plus continue to cross train Morgan at safety and corner. 7 corners and 5 safeties.

They cross train some of the kids, I think in HS he was but I thought they had him slated for a CB spot. I could be wrong.
