I can't direct link to it, but it's on the scroll for ESPN's college football section, somewhere below the first "Bottom 10" list. Title is "Many Schools on track to spend more..." Worth a quick read. It's a bad look IMO and it will bite the state schools first, but it's inevitable unless something is done. Which I have more to say about, but no time to type it all up. Some will be relieved. ;)

I have this suspicion that some of this money is being back doored into NIL pools. Just a suspicion.
 
The cost of the scholarships at the state schools is far less than the private schools. Every school will have a different threshold.
I doubt Syracuse will cross that threshold.
