Identity

I was just talking about a 4-3 with my brother. They have 6 offensive lineman blocking our undersized players. We didn't have a plan and even worse didn't make any adjustments. King isn't playing because he shows up to class late but burned a RS? Same with a bunch of other freshman. That doesn't seem to make sense?
He's still eligible for a redshirt.

That’s funny but delusional if serious
Indiana is a similar program to SU in many ways and is coming off a 3-9 season. They hired a new coach who brought in a bunch of FBS players (not a QB from Ohio State, DE from Texas A&M, and other Power 5 players) and proceeded to start the season 10-0.

I was “hoping“ Coach Fran could do something special in Year 1 to revive this program but we are more than likely now going to finish the season with only the die hard fans like us in attendance.

I promise not to be “delusional” in 2025 because this program will be lucky to make a bowl game playing Tennessee, Notre Dame, Clemson, Miami, Georgia Tech, and SMU on the road.

With our schedule this season I was hoping Fran could do what Cignetti is doing in Indiana.
Cignetti brought a ton of starters from James Madison, a good team, to Indiana. And, he brought in a solid G5 QB. Not comparable to Brown as he wasn't bringing 8 starters from Georgia.

What is remarkable is that with all of the portal losses at James Madison, Bob Chesney has JMU at 7-2. The guy can really coach, but the jury is out on if he can recruit P4 talent.

I miss Scott Shafer's defense. Chaos.Fun to watch and sure handled Geno Smith!
Seriously, I prefer aggressive attacking defenses. Not a fan of bend but don't break.

Any chance Scot would return here as a DC? His defenses were relentless and tough.
