Do you want Syracuse to continue being considered the red headed stepchild of College sports? Syracuse doesn't deserve such a designation, & it's time we put a stop to it.

Personally, I prefer to think of us as the orange-headed stepchild of college sports.

i feel bad for them. the season is like 6 months long and there is basically nothing to talk about for 5 of them. and then the tourney happens, and no one knows what will happen anyway.

KenPom, Sagarin and the Human Poll says Kentucky is well ahead of us. But yet, the RPI rules in your mind - really, the RPI???. What are these statistical categories you speak of in which we are clearly better then UK and UNC?

Just because an analyst makes an observation that UK is the best team right now (which I completely agree with) doesn't mean they are idiots or bad analysts. There is plenty of data out there to support that opinion (both subjective and objective) but its painfully clear you refuse to listen. And yes there is some data that supports Syracuse as well.

At the end of the day we have a chance to prove that we are better on the floor and we are in a good situation entering the tournament. And that is all that matters.

The human poll doesn't count, because it's completely subjective.

SOS & conference strength comparisons give CUSE the edge, despite any other rating services. Kentucky also has less experience & depth overall.

You are also forgetting the most important factor that I have already made clear:

Syracuse is UNDEFEATED at full strength, while Kentucky is not...

This could change in the next few days, but until it possibly does change, Syracuse holds the slight advantage over kentucky.

The difference between Syracuse and Kentucky. Syracuse is undefeated with all of their players, UK isn't.

The BCS is in talks with mantonio to take away the computer model and just use the mantonio rankings to determine who plays in which bowl.

Seems more efficient for sure. Why didn't anyone think of this before?
