ESPN+ & RSN

You and OrangeXtreme are correct and I was incorrect. Here is the answer from the Google search. Hope I am still able to get the game Saturday!

Does ESPN+ include espn3?

Is ESPN+ and ESPN3 the same thing? No, ESPN+ is a subscription based package that you can cancel at any time, while ESPN3 comes with most cable or TV packages. YOU DO NOT RECEIVE ESPN3 with an ESPN+ subscription.
Yes is broadcasting this game, so if yes is available in your locale thats where you have to watch, it will be blacked out on ESPN if Yes is in your coverage area.

I really hope the next two games aren't blacked out in my area again. There was literally no way to watch the GT game for me. I tried everything possible

OrangeXtreme do you know in what areas of the country ESPN3 will be carrying the Syracuse vs. Duke game (ie. Where it is not blacked out)?

Asking for a friend. ;)

Haven't seen an affiliate list or blackout map yet.

Hopefully later today.

"Now, I am located in Tennessee, so not sure if blackout is the issue people may be referring to (as I can see that being the case if it is carried on YES and people are trying to watch ESPN + in New York)."

Hi, Bought our retirement home in Tennessee last spring but not there full time until next spring (Fairfield Glade). Just wondering options I may have to keep watching my Orange"MEN" when I arrive. Any help appreciated.

Spectrum carries YES in the Syracuse region, at least for some plans, therefore ESPN should be blacked out live. Any area with Spectrum service is probably in the same boat. I have no idea where else YES may be.

Moontan lives in Georgia. Or his friend does. ;)

yes
I think someone else pointed out that you get 7 days of free use of Hulu but can put those days on hold whenever you want. So a prudent person might start the free trial on Saturday, hold it after the game, then release the hold the next time an SU game comes up that has a blackout. Should be able to get through the football season anytime using this approach.

Has anyone actually tried this? My understanding was that the pause option is only for paid subscribers and not for the free preview. The way the pause works is that you won't be billed on your next rollover date but can still use the service up until then. You don't carry over the unused days in the month. You can't access your subscription until you un-pause your account.
