Not the case. He was being groomed to be ESPN prez (and no doubt got a call from Disney after Skipper left, just to see if he'd come back). Wildhack did not need Syracuse. The guy bleeds orange.

Some of the stuff alleged is pretty over the top - but if even one of the more outrageous things alleged here is true then others could easily be as well. If true just more evidence that network lost its way from its core focus:

Sure, it's all allegations at this point. All I said is that the allegations go beyond John Buccigross. You didn't ask to prove the case, just if it was all about Buccigross. It's not.

This is clever and im not a fan either, but when a woman like her who has made many political statements about racial injustices in america says that chris berman did not make racially charged statements to her, as lawrence alleged in her lawsuit, then i find that credible.

My guess here is you have no real insight here and just made a quip you thought was intelligent without doing any real research into what is being talked about. So kudos to you...

Wildhack wasn’t getting the President after Skipper left.
Bob Iger put a Disney corporate suit into that job that he wanted Skipper to implant under him.
Skipper said no. Skipper “retired” even though people in the know like James Miller State he was pushed out by Iger.

Wildhack probably had safe employment at ESPN but he fell into a nice spot. SU has a good loyal AD for the foreseeable future who can help the conference as well.
