It's basically the same system that Steve was doing on here after our basketball games for the last 5 or 10 years (admittedly, with a little more detail ...). A fine tribute to our dear friend. It’s funny with 538 shutting down to recall they were purchased originally by ESPN in 2013 to help develop their sports analytics. And here we are 12 years later, with ESPN ripping off random individuals to start using their metrics.

I don’t think 538 provided much value to ESPN before they got reallocated to ABC News.
