The BC QB as a top contender and ahead of Tucker? Lol, ok
Is the list in any kind of order? To me it didn't seem that way. Other than listing the most well known guys first, it was a pretty random order. He stated Tucker is the best runner in the ACC, so it's not like he slighted him. And if we're being objective, QBs have a distinct advantage with the Heisman now. This year's Doak Walker winner didn't even make the top 4.The BC QB as a top contender and ahead of Tucker? Lol, ok
He basically did a tier status where the B/C QB was in the top contender pool clearly above the “played well enough to deserve a mention” pool Tucker is in. Small potatoes, but I still find it hysterical. Bottom line, average QBs like Jurkovec should not have an advantage over elite RBs like TuckerIs the list in any kind of order? I didn't notice the tiers until I just looked again. He didn't put him in the the top contenders though, he put him in up and comers. I still don't have a problem with him being a tier above. Two defensive lineman were ahead of the RB with the most votes this year. QBs most often put up the biggest numbers in college football now, and Tucker's numbers were great but not eye popping. Most of the time a RB needs to be close to 2000 yards and/or be on a NC contender to have a chance. He basically did a tier status where the B/C QB was in the top contender pool clearly above the “played well enough to deserve a mention” pool Tucker is in.
