GMac vs BYU is the game I always think of when it comes to one player single handedly beating the other team.

Melo vs Texas was ridiculous obviously and given the team we were playing, against the player of the year (lol) TJ Ford, at the final four. A worthy #1...but I thought our whole team played great that night, offensively. Defense (the zone) was kind of a mess that night. Texas was drilling everything , 10-21 from 3. Melo put us over the top, for sure.

Melo vs Texas was ridiculous obviously and given the team we were playing, against the player of the year (lol) TJ Ford, at the final four. A worthy #1...but I thought our whole team played great that night, offensively. Defense (the zone) was kind of a mess that night. Texas was drilling everything , 10-21 from 3. Melo put us over the top, for sure.

Yeah that was both an incredible performance by Melo and a great team effort to boot.

Gerry was a different level and a man on a damn mission.

Wade should be higher, imo. His game was sick.

Ant Davis lower. That UK team was stacked even extra because the NBA lockout kept a few guys at UK instead of going to the league. I get he was sick in that game, but top 10? No.

Agree re the comments on GMac's game vs BYU. That was an incredible individual performance.

Separately, it's embarrassing for Rick Barnes with that 2007 UT team w/ KD et al. If JB had that team, they would have won it all (yes, over OSU or UF).

Melo vs UT was a thing of beauty. I've re-watched that game a few times and it's ridiculous how Melo was toying with UT.

Feels like Gerry McNamara 2006 Big East Tourny should have been on there. Without him putting us on his shoulder for multiple games we would have not even made the NCAA tourney

I actually think Zion’s game against Cuse in the ‘19 ACC tournament could make a better claim to be on the list. It was his first game back after being out w/ an injury for a month and he went perfect from the field.

That’s the only ACC tourney I’ve ever been to in-person and I remember thinking he made our guys look like a JV team.
