I don't know what our NIL situation is, nor do I expect it to be any higher than middle of the P4+ schools.

But, we retained Donnie and JJ, we added Kingz for reportedly $750K and added one of the better PG's in George. I'd have to guess George would be at least double Kingz. Kyle must've gotten $300-500K, as well. And if George got that much, you'd have to guess the 2 returning players got somewhere in that neighborhood, or at least 7 digits.

Not sure why Etan/Devo are playing up NIL issues so much, but it probably ties in with Weitsman.

That Kiyan comment is pure BS. First off, how were we able to pay to keep Donnie if that was an issue, let alone afford Nait George. Secondly, of any player on the team to be worried about retaining, Kiyan would be the least likely to worry about considering his own dad is financially backing the program and would pay him himself! I’m tired of the media narratives that are flat out wrong.

Etan clearly has a pro Weitsman anti Cuse agenda. It's so disappointing because he was such a great player here, showed how much a player could improve at Cuse and translate that into millions in the NBA. He evolved into a JB hater, though some criticism was warranted. Sadly Thomas is a shrill now for Weitsman, intent on doing his bidding and hurting the program. I don't care about that and I'm not going to opine on politics. He goes out of his way to pick fights over a plethora of dumb things and never has any ability to admit he was wrong about something. That's not exclusive to him obviously but he doesn't add any value to any discourse Cuse related.

This isn’t true and you’re contradicting yourself. First of all, JB and Weitsman are close. Second, Etan isn’t a JB hater.

Most pods are. Shows should be 10-20 minutes, and everybody drags it out to 60-90 minutes, like we are just SO thrilled to hear them say nothing but "hey" and "shoutout to so and so" for half the damn time.

I think Devo has made some really good progress in his career, and attaching himself to Etan could be career suicide. This might not go well for him.
