Given our offensive struggles, plus NC State's strong run defense I really don't know why we elected to receive. I get that Dino was maybe trying to make a statement about belief in the offense, but defense is our obvious strength, NC State was starting a rookie QB, and our offense has not started strong once this year. Now the holding penalty on the kick pinned us even deeper but that decision resulted in giving NC State great field position and the first 3 points of the game.
If after a bye week you decided this was what you wanted to do then at least you needed to do something creative on the first drive. One run and two little dump offs is exactly what we have done all year and did not show a lot of plannign over the course of the week off.
