Even with the drops, SU has the best WR trio in the BE

i agree, those dudes are good. But I will say this, Lee and Woods are some of the best college receivers I have ever seen. They make Barkley look way better than he really is.

Adhere with both you and go. I'm way of all usc qbs. Barkley is good but i wouldn't want to take him number one

Adhere? My phone has a weird spell check. Agree i mean

Sales is good. West isn't fast but he's elusive

I'd take Lemon, Sales and West against any team we play the rest of the year.
i agree completely. sales looks like he has not missed a beat at all. i dont think lemon is 100% yet, but him at 80% is still better then nearly all the wr's in the big east. but after yesterdays game I was really impressed with west. showed some moves and escapeability everytime he made a catch. plus he has caused about 5 pass interference calls this year when he has run a deep route!

West has to improve catching harder throws but does a nice job with softer tosses. Kobena alligator armed one throw and that annoyed me and I want these receivers to go and dive for balls better. I like what they've shown so far and are better than I previously thought.

That catch Sales made in the endzone was right in front of my seats. That was equivelant to the catch Woods made in the endzone, sick catch, perfect throw...and Woods and Lee are ridiculous. It was like watching our secondary (who isnt that bad) try to guard NFL wr's,which they basically are.

Me too.

How about we actually watch the other Big East teams before we say that? No one has speed. There are far too many drops. I think all 3 are soliud #2 wide outs. There must be some # 1's in this league. All we heard is that Funderburk was better than all 3.

I've seen most of them.

When did the "all we heard is Funderburk was better" happen?

I heard that and I believe Rahme said it as well. Someone here said he was the best wide out since Mike Williams. Once again, might have been Rahme. And how exactly have you seen every team in the Big east play already? And if we do have the best trio in the league, and I hope we do, the league sucks. This is a league that has had elite wide outs. I like our guys, but elite??

I've seem parts of or all of games involving UConn, Cincy, rutgirls, Lville, pitt and SU. Have not seen any temple or USF. We have the best core.

#2 wide outs in the NFL?

I'm not as impressed with West. Its the drops. I don't think he's a bad player, I guess I'm just not seeing what everyone else is so excited about.

I think Kobena has more upside. I tolerate his mistakes as a wideout a bit more.

i only saw one bad drop from him and a few nice snags.

Well, he booted some in the first game that were costly and then dropped a first down pass on our first drive yesterday.:noidea:

Can't forget the fastest WR on the team, who had 2 TDs in the opener. Very good group, it's been building that way, nice to have avoided the worst case scenario with Sales (i.e. having never seen him again).

Just give me Pugh back in the lineup, and an unrelated to the topic Raymon waiver, and I'll stop asking for things. Anything positive with Flemming is just upside.
