Everyone says jay wright owns Sracuse, but let ,me state

It took Boeheim a decade to get to his first and another decade to get to his second. And some great coaches never get to one (e.g. John Chaney and Gene Keady).

I personally think Dixon is an excellent coach.

He's made hay in the regular season when referees in the Big East let him play his "unique" brand of basketball. Otherwise he's made it to the elite eight once and has never upset a higher seeded team in the big dance in ten seasons.

I don't think anyone thought Boeheim was a great coach from 1977 to 1987 either.

While JB is surely an iconic coach and deserving of the accolades he's received, he would be the first to acknowledge that there are many great coaches out there. And his list would likely cause many heads to explode on this board.
