What about bringing in George Deleone to call the plays?
Sounds good - over 100 wins on the Hill.

Worked well for UConn.

Those performances had little to do with the quarterback and everything to do with the competition. If Hunt was any good SU wouldn't have recruited Allen.Maybe the pressure from Allen will light a fire for Hunt. Seemed like he built on that competition for Wagner/Tulane.

Well, then you have to call into question the staff's ability to evaluate QB recuits because Allen sucks worse than Hunt.

Ding ding ding, why our crack reporting staff at syracuse.com hasnt questioned Schafer or Mcdonald about this is mindboggling. Perhaps Cohen and his band of merry reporters could maybe look into why we keep running the same WR's out there despite abysmal results. It would also be nice if we could maybe start holding Moore somewhat accountable? He obviously isnt recruiting so could he at least coach up the position?
Wildcat all game. You heard it here first.
Why is that hard to imagine? Does John O'Korn ring any bells? lowly 3 star freshman, almost came here, torched Rutgers last week. EDIT - sorry see someone already beat me to the O'Korn reference. That's depressing. Allen has been terrible. Hunt gave me hope against the sisters of mercy schools. Very hard to imagine a true freshman coming in next year and doing anything.
Here's to Hunt showing some potential this week!
My first grader's soccer coach has more clarity of thought and purpose. This sounds promising, " We'll probably have a plan going into the week. There will be some type of plan…"
I'm encouraged.

Not sure if you are joking but I honestly think this may be the best way to move the ball.
Short leash is not the same thing as a rotationI love QB rotations. (Insert sarcasm)
That is what 'short leash' means. In this case, it does not mean limited re: play book.I don't think Hunt is on a short leash. He won't be constrained any more or less than he has been. I don't think they will limit him which is what "short leash" means. With that said, if he does not produce, he will be yanked.

Thank you for proving my point.Nah...
"to have a lot of control over someone's behaviour and allow them very little freedom to do what they want"
"A strict set of rules, or great scrutiny or oversight which limit one's freedom of action."
"To keep (a person) on a short leash to maintain close control over the activities of (a person)."
"Dogs are walked on a leash, usually about six feet long. However if your dog is aggressive or misbehaves it might be better to keep him on a two foot long leash. A short leash is used to maintain close control over the dog."
"constantly supervise and watch over someone; limit or control someone’s ability to move or act freely"
My bad. I didn't realize your point was they planned to keep tighter control over what Hunt does on the field this week.Thank you for proving my point.

Shafer: "Terrel will start and we'll see how its going." Leash might be shorter than I thought.
