Saints waived QB Jake Haener and signed DE Fadil Diggs.
Haener was the betting favorite to win the starting quarterback job for the Saints before they went with Spencer Rattler under center. He was released by the team as they trimmed down to 53, signed to the practice squad, and then re-signed to the active roster within a week before his eventual release. The team signed DE Fadil Diggs in a corresponding move.

Back on the Practice Squad--they had to waive him b/c he was on the 53 last week. Didn't record any stats, though.

Still, he's collecting a pay check again. Hope he gets called up some more...

As a kid Graves was really the first Syracuse qb I remember. Still my favorite qb. I'm still upset he didn't get a chance to go to a bowl game and win a 4th bowl game mvp his senior year.
