Familiar Face/Different Place

Does he know if he is going to be a SG or a SF?
They usually play with 4 perimeter players and 1 big. The 4 is usually some one that can stretch the floor also on this team. BJ has been playing the wing 2/3 for all purposes. image.jpgimage.jpgBut I can take em? Maybe? Possibly? He is still the young grasshopper.:rolling:OG 6'5" 170 age 21 or BJ 6'"8 193 age 19. Who ya Got?

I am sure you can still muscle him a bit, right? You have to have a few tricks left that you didn't teach him, yet.

At 48 and 241pds, that's just about all I can do. Although I did shoot it pretty well in one of our shooting sessions a couple of weeks ago. I then took off a week for rest. Oh yeah and several cold ones!! For me!!

Glad to hear he is well and also glad he is still pals with the guys from SU and comfortable with spending some time in Syracuse. Regardless of what happens, when a good kid and his family decide to play for the Cuse (even though it unfortunately didn't work out in this case), they are Cuse for life in my book!

He likes it. Although he would rather be playing this year and for his dream school. But he has made the adjustment just fine. He started summer school about ten days after leaving SU. BJ has learned from this experience and will be better for it moving forward. He finished with a 3.3 after taking 3 business courses. He knows a lot of the guys on he team pretty well and they spent a lot of time together this summer. He also has two male cousins that attend LaSalle who are juniors as well. He continue to workout individually and with the team on skills and s/c. He stated that the weightlifting is allowing him to add more bulk as well as strength as they continue with this process. He along with two other transfers from SC a 6'9" pf & a Memphis kid 6'1" pg along with BJ at currently 6'8" should make them very good next year. They have some size alreadyphilly.
It's good to see a parent taking pride in his kids academics - too often, people forget the huge benefit of a free College education. I expect this from the students, but too often parents push it aside as well.

I am very huge on his academics and from the outset of his education. Hey listen, I got enough C's for the both of us in college. So that is not acceptable for BJ moving forward. He has for the most part been an excellent student throughout. I was the parent who was like "don't have me come to the school because of BS!" Me and the young fella have a great understanding when it comes to school.

Im taking OG. Scrappy.

Bobby, checking the early season schedule there are a few games at the Palestra. I'll be the old guy in Orange.
There nothing like the games at the Palestra in the Big 5. I'll be there as well so maybe we can meet during the game.
