I know this isn't Clemson's offense, but my favorite stretch of the game was the 9 plays in a row that Tulane ran inside the Syracuse 10 yard line and they came away with NOTHING. That was impressive, even though SU was called for 2 separate penalties (both of which were highly questionable in my mind)... to end that sequence with a blocked FG was awesome.

I think if SU hadn't been so sloppy with their tackling in the 1st half, it may have been a second straight shutout. All of the points they got yesterday were after significant gains made by their offense due to missed/broken tackles. They did a better job in the second half with tackling and took advantage of the knowledge that Tulane was going to have to throw the ball.

Only complaint yesterday was tackling in the first half.

The long Montana prayer down inside the ten yard line only happened because Micah Robinson - I think - did not wrap up on a QB sack.

And because Eskridge horribly misplayed it... the ball had so much air time that he had the opportunity to step in front of the receiver and either intercept it or knock it away, but he chose to step behind the receiver... not sure what he was thinking, but you could actually see him make this choice when the ball was in the air on the replay. I guess he was thinking to get behind the receiver and make the tackle... but with his height, I would hope he would naturally play the ball in that scenario.

Reddish also misplayed that td grab. He had him covered and was looking toward the qb but it seemed like he picked the ball up late or something.

Yes. That was as hard nosed as it gets. No points.

Not sure what happened there, but I thought he played it pretty well... decent throw to a high point and a tall receiver is what I think won that play for Tulane.

He was there and had it covered but I thought he was in good position to swat it or pick it. I'm not sure if his feet were crossed up or he lost balance but I thought he was going to make a play. It was a good catch for sure

Have to agree on that stretch. It seemed that the defense played with some intensity in that spot. It all played out right in front of me. I know my section put some intensity in our yelling...

Welsh, Robinson, Thompson, Johnson, at DE, with Raymond, Crumb, Williams, at DT next year could be the best group we have ever had, add Holley to that, and their will be a lot of sore QB's, and RB's.
