I hope Dino is playing him in the position most likely to earn him a paycheck for 5-10 years in the NFL.What’s his best playing weight as FB? Wonder how he’s going to have to build his body in the off-season to go into the backfield.
You really think Elmore has a future in the NFL as a 5’10 DT?I hope Dino is playing him in the position most likely to earn him a paycheck for 5-10 years in the NFL.
You don't need to apologize...most people realize what you were quoting.Yo my bad. Super not PC of me, Bro.
I doubt it but Dino thinks he has a chance on a rosterYou really think Elmore has a future in the NFL as a 5’10 DT?
If he has a shot. It’s at the position he’s at.I doubt it but Dino thinks he has a chance on a roster
Yes it did but I don't watch many movies. However, a lot of people just like me would take it differently which is unfortunate.wooof, went super far over his head.
If we could get into a time machine and return him to his freshman year, knowing what we know now, would the coaching staff have put him at one position and stuck with that?
Or is/was his athleticism and durability such that he was always going to be considered for multiple roles?

If I had access to a time machine that’s not what I would use it for
If Dino has a brain in his head he will scrap the weak captain by game BS and name Kingsley, Serv, and Rhino captains for next year. Team needs leadership.
Sounds (appropriately I might add) a lot like:You don't need a "C" sewn on your jersey to be a leader.
It’s not just a full back position. Elmore allows them a lot of formational versatility. He is in the game for 11, 12, 21 and 22 personnel. ( which could be a fullback or TE role). It makes teams have to decide what defensive personnel they want to use and how many players they want to commit to the box. Staying 4 or 5 wide makes you very predictable. This is a veer and shoot offense. You can’t have the power run element staying in 4/5 Wr sets. There’s nothing Elmore provides that the current DL can’t do. I disagree when you say his talent is being waisted.
That's another subject, but I whole-heartedly agree. Who were the leaders back in the summer when we started veering off the winning path?If Dino has a brain in his head he will scrap the weak captain by game BS and name Kingsley, Serv, and Rhino captains for next year. Team needs leadership.
I think Tony Dungy specifically pointed out how good a block Rhino made on that play.Tucker’s TD vs ND doesn’t happen without that block. It was a text book wham block
He walks he talks he crawls on his belly like a reptile. That boy can play some football. He can play left, he can play right, don't make no difference. He can block, tackle, score the touch down, snap the ball, and kick the extra point. Hell, the boy will fill up the Gatorade cooler, walk the dog, and paint your back porch. I'm telling ya, the boy can plain outplay football.
It doesn't hurt.Sounds (appropriately I might add) a lot like:

It is. I didn' know which movie it was from, but could tell pretty quick that it was from a movie or something similar just from the over the top nature of it.Yes it did but I don't watch many movies. However, a lot of people just like me would take it differently which is unfortunate.
Great teammate, for sure.Elmore may be the most unselfish player we've had since Diamond Ferri. Just plays where he's told, when he's told. No complaining and just loves to play.
He doesnt have to carry or catch the ball that much. Our TE's barely touched the ball the last 5 years. You dont think teams havent noticed that? We throw to them in the redzone though. Why are you watching bowling green? Their time there doesn’t represent their scheme as a whole. The offense they ran there was based on the players they had to work with. Watch SU the last 5 years. You cant just stay in 3 x1 or 2 x 2 Wr sets. It might be teams primary formations but they dont stay in it. You have to run multiple sets with different players to keep teams off balance and take advantage of match ups. Different formations manipulate defensive coverages. You dont remember all the Veer plays we ran? We ran a lot of counters, power and G kick plays. We ran a lot of QB power reads with Dungey. A lot of those plays were in 21 and 22 personnel. You have to be multiple point blank.elmore never touches the ball so that’s just as predictable.
go watch the bowling green tape. There is no fullback. Everything is 5 OL with the TE either on the line or a step off the line in a wing back role where they use the TE as a FB. It’s all single back sets with 3 wide. There is nothing power run about that. If Elmore is a TE in that role that’s fine, I don’t mind that.
What I don’t want to see is 5 OL, a traditional TE AND a FB with only 2 wide.
I didn’t mean to say 5 wide. 3 wide and/or split the TE out for 4. That’s mostly what bowling green did. TE in the traditional spot on the line or off the line in the backfield. Single back, 3 wide was the base.
